"After a year of use"

Description: I started home brewing a few years ago and purchased a mill pretty early on after converting to all grain. It was cool being able to mill the grain yourself since you the shelf life was much longer. Well, that original Barley crusher mill started to get hung up and not engage the second wheel to crush the grain. I took it apart, cleaned and oiled all the bushings, and it would still occasionally stop spinning that second wheel. That's a PITA when it happens. Gotta dump the grains out, shove objects to encourage the grains to go through the wheels, etc. So I bought the MM2 pro. I liked the lower approach angle with a larger diameter roller and it hasn't proven me wrong so far. It is fast - but requires a serious drill to push it. Ended up with a variable speed 1/2 drill for mixing up mortar. max rpm is 700, so operating at 250 is pretty easy. It's the HF product.

"Monster Mill for gin botanicals"

Description: Just wanted to say, we've been using the MM-2Pro for several years now in the distillery, grinding botanicals for gin. This mill is superb, very well engineered and it does the business on juniper, etc. Starting at the max gap setting, we bruise the botanicals and run them again for a finer grind. After 10+ batches they gum up the rollers a bit and we have to disassemble it, scrub the rollers off with ethanol and a brass brush. Anyway, it''s just a terrific product for this unusual use and worth every penny. —J.E. New Riff Distilling
